I graduated from Moore College of Art in with a BFA in Advertising Design.

For the next 28 years, as much as motherhood would allow, I worked in the ad business while doing watercolors as a side.

From '86 to '96, I created scenery for the Morrisville Presbyterian Youth Club Charity Shows.

I was a member of Moore's alumnae board from 1996 to 1999.

In the spring of 1995, I visited the Philadelphia Furniture Show at the PA Convention Center. I was so enthralled and inspired that I enrolled in the Fine Arts Furniture Program at Bucks County Community College the

following winter.

In 2000 my ash cheval mirror was selected by the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts to be displayed in their emerging artists’ booth at the Philadelphia Furniture and Furnishings Show.

My pig cabinet was accepted for a furniture show held in Lambertville at the Rago Center in 1999.

In March of 2002, I won first place in the employee and family show at Johnson and Johnson. And, in 2005, a wall mirror took second place

in the judging.

In March of 2003, I was honored with a "Distinguished Alumna Award" from Moore College of Art & Design.

In March 2007, my “junk lamp” was judged first place in a Garry Knox Bennett workshop.

In 2008, my “z” table received an honorable mention in the AOY

member show.

Since 1998, I am a member of the Furniture Society and assisted in the planning of the 2003 conference in Philadelphia.

I am a member of the Artists of Yardley, Artists of Bristol and Artsbridge.

Aside from commissions, my work is for my own creative pleasure. Emphases are more on the design, art, form, and materials first and function second.
